The Education Department offers a 27-credit undergraduate minor for persons interested in gaining skills working in educational settings. Students must meet all applicable requirements listed in the Minors section of this catalog, including the Minor residence requirement.

Required Courses (12 credits)

ED 240 - Whole Child Development 3 credits
ED 251 - Introduction to Teaching 3 credits
or
ED 252 - Introduction to Social Foundations in Education 3 credits

Required Practica (Choose 3 credits from the following)

ED 253 - Southern Oregon University Learn and Serve (SOULS) 1 to 4 credits
