Program Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of a BFA in Theatre, graduates will demonstrate:
- Ability to interpret dramatic, creative, and literary texts through written, symbolic, visual, and oral means as well as historical, cultural and critical context.
- Comprehension, practice and mastery of professional skills in their chosen area(s) of interest.
- Ability work both independently and collaboratively, both as leaders and members of a team.

Theatre BFA
Theatre is an all-BFA program. For graduation, Theatre students must complete all program requirements AND either earn a theatre certificate of their choosing or complete the intensive concentration in Performance. Admission to the Performance Concentration is by audition only. Retention in the Theatre program is dependent on academic performance and continued development of talent and acquisition of skills as evaluated by faculty assessment. Requirements for the Theatre BFA Major
1. Fulfill baccalaureate degree requirements.
3. Maintain a minimum cumulative 3.00 GPA in the major.
