MIIS 521 - Applications in Interdisciplinary Graduate Studies 3 credits Building on concepts introduced in MIIS 520, MIIS 521 introduces students to the practice necessary in selecting a research design for thesis option or assessment of project options. Explores the literature search and review practices necessary to develop sound scholarship. Covers the use of appropriate theory in research design and project assessment. Engages students in the practices necessary to develop a thesis or project proposal.
