EMDA 201 - Digital Image Foundations 2 credits Students discuss the nature of digital images, debate the ethical challenges involved in creating and manipulating them, and explore the principles behind effective design and innovative imagery. May include exercises to develop students’ collaborative skills. EMDA 201 serves as a prerequisite or recommended course for several upper division classes in art, applied multimedia, computer science, photojournalism, and video production. Approved for University Studies (Explorations Strand E - Humanities).
