ENG 594 - Recent Developments in Language Study 4 credits Examines the theories of structure and meaning in language, with emphasis on the English language. Studies of recent developments may include the acquisition of language in early childhood with implications for preschool and school curricula, sexist and racist language, and contemporary grammatical theory and research.
