TA 167 - Script Analysis 4 credits Develops students’ abilities to read and interpret dramatic material for direction, performance, or design. Discusses what makes plays unique from other forms of writing. Students learn how to initially read a play, how to plot the action of the play and its characters, and how to interpret information offered by the playwright by asking questions that illuminate the inner meaning of the play. Open to non-theatre majors. (Approved for University Studies Explorations - Strand E.) Grade mode designated on a CRN basis each term. Students should consult current term schedule.
