NAS 331 - Language Revitalization

Provides an overview of contemporary issues in language endangerment and revitalization for the world’s languages, with a primary focus on North America. Covers theories of language endangerment and methods of revitalization through several case studies, examining how various scientific approaches and cultural norms guide language shift and the associated response.
