3 credits Designed for previously licensed teachers who have fulfilled Oregon initial teacher licensure requirements. Working independently, candidates complete a minimum 90 contact hours in a special education setting appropriate to the authorization level sought (elementary or secondary). The practicum is completed in conjunction with SPED 572: Special Education Advanced Work Sample. Candidates negotiate an individualized meeting and progress schedule with the instructor.
