CS 456 - Security I 4 credits Introduces the many facets of computer security and information assurance. Covers cryptographic protocols, modes, and algorithms. Security in computer operating systems, software security, system security, authentication, and authorization are covered. Prerequisite(s): CS 257 with a C or better and CS 314 . Junior standing or above. Grade mode designated on a CRN basis each term. Students should consult current term schedule.
