Further develop communication, thinking, and research skills. Explore the nature of academic inquiry via research. Develop skills and strategies to discover, evaluate, and use authoritative information and data. Explore evidence available on academic databases. Generate and revise research-based writing tasks using argumentation and policy-based perspectives; sharpen citation and documentation skills; extend rhetorical knowledge of context, purpose, and audience.
