ENG 447A - Irish Literature 4 credits Explores Irish fiction, drama, and poetry with particular focus on significant historical events such as the Irish Famine and the 1916 Easter Uprising. We especially examine issues of colonialism and nationhood, religious affiliation, gender, sexuality, and embodiment. Approved for University Studies - Strand J. Prerequisite(s): ENG 301 .
