BI 346 - Biogeochemistry

Explores chemical principles that link biological and geological processes on regional and global scales. Examines the environmental chemistry and cycles of nutrients, carbon and water in the atmosphere, hydrosphere and lithosphere. Covers current issues in global change, pollution and risk assessment. Class restriction: sophomore standing or above. Grading option designated on a CRN basis each term. Students should consult current term schedule. Restricted to Sophmores and above. Prerequisite(s): BI 211 , BI 212 , BI 213  and CH 201 , CH 202 , CH 203 .
