4 credits Examines the theoretical and practical foundations of computer simulation. Studies simulations of discrete and continuous systems. Assigns projects using standard higher programming languages, as well as currently available simulation languages. Grading option designated on a CRN basis each term. Students should consult current term schedule. Prerequisite(s): CS 257 with a B or better and MTH 243 .
