CS 446 - Wireless Networks

Examines the world of wireless communication. Starting with the fundamentals of the generation and propagation of electromagnetic waves, it surveys information transmission techniques such as spread spectrum and phase shift keying, wireless LANs, personal networks, and cellular and satellite systems. Grading option designated on a CRN basis each term. Students should consult current term schedule. Prerequisite(s): CS 336 .
