ED 426 - Bullies and Victims in the Schools: Intervention/Prevention


3 credits
Designed to provide understanding of the bully/victim syndrome, policy guidelines, and strategies and methods to intervene and curb bullying in the schools. Provides teachers with a system of preventing and dealing with bullying abuse in the schools. Examines the identified types of bullying and their manifestations, as well as applicable state and federal laws. Grading option designated on a CRN basis each term. Students should consult current term schedule. Restricted to Juniors and above.
