ED 457B - Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment

Taught during the senior year of the Elementary Education licensure program, this course provides a continuation of the complex design of standards-based curriculum and assessment to meet the diversity of needs in an elementary classroom. Emphasizes classroom teaching processes to help the beginning teacher develop a repertoire of strategies for instruction, planning, and assessment, while gaining an understanding of the Oregon State Standards and the Common Core State Standards. Emphasizes effective strategies for standards-based education. Graded (A-F) only. Restricted to Elementary Education majors with Senior standing. Prerequisite(s): Completion of ED 457A  with a B or better.
