CH 330 - Metals and Civilization


3 credits
Examines the influence of minerals, metals, energy, and natural resources, including their role in invention and innovation on the development of civilization. This interdisciplinary course addresses geology, history, archaeology, invention, and adaptation to resources in the world around us. Three 1-hour lectures. Approved for University Studies (Integration -  Strand H). Grading option designated on a CRN basis each term. Students should consult current term schedule. Prerequisite(s): Sophomore standing or above.
