HE 550 - Origins of Modern Health 3 credits Studies questions of individual preference by looking at theories related to biological impulse (genes and evolution), cultural influence (technology and civilization), and cognitive autonomy (decision making) which, though sometimes contradictory, connect to shape a modern definition of health. Grading option is designated on a CRN basis each term. Students should consult current term schedule. Must be eligible to take Graduate level coursework.
