MTH 290 - Mathematical Perspectives

Presents mathematics as a way of thinking and a body of knowledge important to the development of civilizations. Explores a variety of mathematical topics and history through guest lectures, reading, expository, writing, and student discussion. Grading option designated on a CRN basis each term. Students should consult current term schedule. Prerequisite(s): MTH 252 (may be taken concurrently).
