4 credits Rigorous study of groups, including normal subgroups, quotient groups, isomorphism theorems, and the Sylow or the equivalent structure theorems. Grading option is designated on a CRN basis each term. Students should consult current term schedule. Must be eligible to take Graduate level coursework. Prerequisite(s): MTH 341.
