Provides the OAL student with a historical perspective of the natural, cultural, and legal events that have shaped the region’s national forests and wild areas. Explores the literary legacy, geography, and current environmental issues affecting the use and protection of forest lands in the Pacific Northwest. Grading option designated on a CRN basis each term. Students should consult current term schedule. Prerequisite(s): USEM 103.
