Explores the development of Western drama and theatre from the Renaissance to the eighteenth century. Involves intensive study of representative plays. Also examines production techniques, theatre architecture, actors and acting styles, and significant political and cultural developments of the times. Restricted to Theatre Arts Majors. Prerequisite(s): TA 230; sophomore standing or above required.
