WR 472 - Teaching Written Composition

Preparation for teaching writing in K-14 language arts and composition classes. Emphasizes recent theory and research in the teaching of writing. Class members learn to model desirable writing and learning behaviors. Grading option designated on a CRN basis each term. Students should consult current term schedule. Restricted to Juniors and above. Prerequisite(s): ENG 300.
