TA 221 - Voice and Movement I

Provides a beginning study of the physical and vocal components of an actor’s instrument. Designed to develop an actor’s awareness. Emphasizes creation of and work within an ensemble of artists through exercises and improvisation. Introduces the connection of emotion to impulses of the body and voice. Builds a vocabulary of tools essential to further study within the movement and voice curriculum. Graded (A-F) only. Restricted to Theatre Arts Majors
