NAS 480 - Applied Native American Ecological Practices 4 credits Continues the course objectives of NAS 380. Students will finalize preparations for the Native American Ecological Education Symposium (NAEES), held Spring term of each year. Students, in a collaborative and team-oriented manner, will complete the theme, select final dates, contact presenters, and detail items and timelines to accomplish the NAEES. Students will immerse themselves in Traditional Ecological Knowledge, active stewardship, and sustainable alternatives through community involvement, civic engagement, and service learning. Grading option designated on a CRN basis each term. Students should consult current term schedule. Prerequisite(s): NAS 380 .
