SHS 339 - Performing Shakespeare

Offers students the opportunity to approach Shakespeare’s text from the actor’s perspective and to take part in a Shakespearean performance project, for example, a presentation of a redacted version of a Shakespearean play. This is not an acting class, so no acting experience is required. Students are positioned as actors solely in order to experience the unique way of knowing Shakespeare that performing his plays provides. Grading option designated on a CRN basis each term.
