ART 498 - Senior Studio Practice 2 credits Teaches students how to develop an individual daily studio practice through faculty mentorship and small-group discussion and critique with the class cohort. Students pull together skills, research, and experience into the studio-intensive creative practice at the center of their SOU Art experience. Projects include creating and preparing work for the spring creative arts exhibition, Capstone & BFA Review, developing an online presence and portfolio, defining professional goals, applying for jobs, residencies, internships, building professional networks and participating in visiting artist programs and exhibitions through the Schneider Museum of Art. Repeatable for a maximum of 6 credits. Grading option designated on a CRN basis each term. Students should consult current term schedule. Restricted to Juniors and above.
