Approved schools of medical technology require three years of preparatory courses or a bachelor’s degree for admission. The curriculum in medical technology at SOU meets the requirements of the American Society of Clinical Pathologists for admission to a school of medical technology. Additional courses needed to qualify for clinical licensing and a bachelor’s degree in medical technology are offered at Oregon Health & Science University.
