BI 571 - Ornithology 4 credits Examines the diversity, origins of flight, structural and physiological adaptations, reproduction, migration, and other aspects of avian behavior and ecology. Includes fieldwork in visual and auditory recognition of birds and the study of their habits. Two lectures, one 4-hour laboratory, and field trips (including some on weekends). Prerequisite(s): BI 317 . Corequisite(s): BI 571L . Graded (A-F) only
