ED 557B - Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment 3 credits A continuation of the complex design of standards-based curriculum and assessment to meet the diversity of needs in an elementary classroom. Emphasizes classroom teaching processes to help the beginning teacher develop a repertoire of strategies for instruction, planning, and assessment, while gaining an understanding of the Oregon State Standards. Emphasizes effective strategies for standards-based education and the implementation of the Oregon Education Act for the Twenty-First Century. Prerequisite(s): Completion of ED 557A with a B- or better. Graded (A-F) only.
