Given that many of these texts are an act of resistance to dominant society’s forms of categorization, we will be exploring some of the histories that have engendered these texts. Relevant topics that may be addressed: migrations, racism, sexism, marginalization, nationalism, colonization, resilience and celebration. Approved for University Studies Explorations - Humanities. Grade mode designated on a CRN basis each term. Students should consult current term schedule.
