MS 492 - Senior Leadership Laboratory II 1 credit Designed to use basic military training to develop confidence, character, and leadership in contracted students preparing to receive commissions as U.S. Army lieutenants. MS IV cadets develop training plans and implement the Army staff processes in teaching scenarios to junior cadets. Lab instruction uses a team approach in all events. Students participate in leadership responsibilities to assess and develop skills in themselves and other cadets. Students teach various military tasks such as marching, marksmanship, tactical patrolling, rappelling, and urban assault techniques. Covers practical knowledge in first aid, water survival, and land navigation. Primarily conducted in an outdoor setting. Designed for senior students who have completed the Leader Development Assessment Course (LDAC). Open enrollment. Corequisite(s): MS 422 . Graded (A-F) only
