CS 458 - Security III 4 credits Studies the threats to computer systems connected to the Internet. Explores techniques to improve web security and provide key concepts for common web vulnerabilities such as cross site scripting, SQL injection, vulnerabilities in server and client-side programming languages, and web authentication vulnerabilities. Helps students developm skills to prevent these vulnerabilities. Prerequisite(s): CS 336 and CS 456 . Grade mode designated on a CRN basis each term. Students should consult current term schedule.
