Covers political, economic, social, cultural, and foreign relations history from the end of the Reconstruction to the onset of the Great Depression. Emphasizes industrialization, labor movements, agrarian problems, urbanization, populism, progressivism, overseas expansion, the U.S. experience in World War I, consumerism, and the boom and bust of the 1920s.Prerequisite(s): Upper division standing.
