CH 553 - Biochemistry


3 credits
Introduces the principles of molecular genetics as they apply to biochemical systems. Includes cellular repair mechanisms, recombinant DNA technologies, and a detailed look at the processes of DNA replication, transcription and translation, and genetic regulation. Three lectures. Grading option designated on a CRN basis each term. Students should consult current term schedule. Must be eligible to take Graduate level coursework. Prerequisite(s): CH 452 .
