BI 346 - Biogeochemistry 4 credits Explores chemical principles that link biological and geological processes on regional and global scales. Examines the environmental chemistry and cycles of nutrients, carbon and water in the atmosphere, hydrosphere and lithosphere. Covers current issues in global change, pollution and risk assessment. Prerequisite(s): BI 211 , BI 212 , BI 213 and CH 201 , CH 202 , CH 203 . Sophomore standing or above. Grade mode designated on a CRN basis each term. Students should consult current term schedule.
