COUN 531 - Community Counseling 4 credits Examines the effects of social and environmental factors on behavior, with emphasis on the impact of societal systems (schools, neighborhoods, organizations, and other networks) on individuals and their mental health. Sample topics include community action, public policy, prevention programming, and social change processes.
