TA 270 - Acting Aesthetics 4 credits Offers an introductory explanation of acting theory and methodology through exercise and beginning scene/monologue work. Emphasizes use of the actor’s individual qualities, character analysis, performance techniques, and acting as an aspect of life. Primary focus is on contemporary realism. Priority is assigned to non-performance-oriented theatre majors. Prerequisite(s): TA 166 or instructor consent. Grade mode designated on a CRN basis each term.
