TA 382 - Acting V: Shakespeare 4 credits Covers acting theory and technique for the advanced actor. Offers an intensive study of skills required when acting in Shakespeare’s plays in both classical and contemporary styles. Emphasizes scansion, verse, text interpretation, and character development through improvisation and structured scenes and monologues. Prerequisite(s): TA 381 and instructor consent. Restricted to Theatre majors. * This course was formerly offered under a different number; students who took the following course(s) will not receive additional credit unless otherwise noted: TA 348.
