TA 228 - Voice and Speech for the Stage III 4 credits Continues the study of the actor’s vocal instrument. Expands the artistic and eloquent language skills necessary for classical theatre. Focuses on developing vocal strength, flexibility, breath control, and a solid sound with ample resonance. Further develops heightened technical articulation skills through work on vowel and consonant action and pronunciation. Prerequisite(s): TA 227 . Restricted to Theatre BFA majors. * This course was formerly offered under a different number; students who took the following course(s) will not receive additional credit unless otherwise noted: TA 225.
