ARTH 344 - Art, Culture, and Politics 4 credits Students examine the arts as an agent of social, culture, and political change during the twentieth century. Explores art from a social history perspective and traces how it intersects with the broader social dynamics of specific historical periods ranging from the radicalism of the early avant-garde to the postmodern era. Prerequisite(s): Completion of all lower division University Studies requirements Approved for General Education: University Studies - J Strand Grade mode designated on a CRN basis each term.
