BA 208 - Introduction to Sustainability and Tourism

Provides an overview of the tourism industry, including size, scope, and impact of the sector. Learners are introduced to the concept of sustainability and the linkage between tourism and sustainability. Each of the major segments of the industry is explored, including lodging, restaurants and beverages, cruise lines, theme parks, meetings, conventions, and events, with specific focus on sustainability and current trends of each subsector.
