CCJ 411 - Criminal Law 4 credits Covers the nature, origins, and purposes of criminal law, constitutional limits on criminal law, general principles of criminal liability, complicity and vicarious criminal liability, inchoate crimes, defenses to criminal liability, and crimes against persons, public morality, and the government. Prerequisite(s): Students must have completed all lower-division CCJ required courses. * This course was formerly offered under a different number; students who took the following course(s) will not receive additional credit unless the course is stated to be repeatable in the description above: CCJ 351 Grade mode designated on a CRN basis each term.
