GSWS 301 - Global Gender Movements 4 credits Examines how global majority feminisms, trans feminisms, queer feminisms and Indigenous feminisms relate to justice across the globe. Topics include the relationship of religion, race, class, and sexuality to conceptualizations of feminism worldwide; the relationship of gender and human rights; and the relationship of resistance to capitalism, exploitative corporations, and imperialism. Prerequisite(s): Completion of all lower division University Studies requirements.
