MUS 123 - Music Theory 3 2 credits Music Theory 3 builds on concepts and skills mastered in Music Theory 2. Students will learn how to apply seventh, secondary dominant & leading tone chords to harmonic progressions and observe how these progressions are observed in binary & ternary forms as found in historical and popular styles of music. Students will apply harmonic concepts at the keyboard. Prerequisite(s): MUS 122 and MUS 125 . Restricted to BA/BS Music majors, Music Industry & Production majors, and/or students earning the Certificate in Music Theory & History. Corequisite(s): MUS 126 Graded (A-F) only
