PS 311 - Public Opinion & Survey Research


4 credits
Explores what the public thinks about political issues, how we can measure these opinions, and more importantly, why they feel this way. Analysis will draw extensively from scientific studies of attitudes in the fields of political science and social psychology. We will also attempt to understand how political attitudes change and the larger influence of public opinion on representation. Essential course for students seeking a career in politics, management, or business. Prerequisite(s): Junior standing or above or PS 201 .
