OAL 426 - Outdoor Adventure Risk Management 3 credits Examines risk management from both a historical and contemporary viewpoint. Students explore tort liability, relevant case law, risk evaluation, legal management strategies, and the principles of waivers and releases. This course views risk management as a central component of expeditionary thinking, with a focus on mitigating potential incidence. Prerequisite(s): OAL 150 , OAL 223 , OAL 250 , and OAL 252 .
