ES 483 - Restoration Ecology

Provides an overview of the broad field of Restoration Ecology. Introduces basic principles including analysis and discussion of concepts and theories of restoration ecology and the practice of ecological restoration. Focuses on applications to restoring composition, structure, and processes of ecosystems. Explores these areas through in-class lecture, reading assignments, and class discussions throughout the term. Prerequisite(s): ES 102  or BI 213  and BI 340  and ES 340 . Corequisite(s): ES 483L .
