CH 375 - Computational Methods for Scientists 3 credits Focuses on data analysis and visualization of complex data sets using examples from the natural and social sciences. Serves as an introduction to programming in Python or similar programming environment. No prior programming experience is assumed or required. Additional topics include molecular optimization and visualization of small molecules and large biomolecules. One 1-hour recitation and one 3-hour laboratory. Prerequisite(s): CH 223 , CH 229 , and MTH 252 . Corequisite(s): CH 375R . Grade mode designated on a CRN basis each term. Students should consult current term schedule.
