DCIN 362 - Screenwriting Theory & Practice 4 credits Introduces students to the history and theory of screenwriting practices from an international perspective. Students will research the narratological nature of the motion picture screenplay text and examine a range of scripting practices, from conventional to transgressive, considering their respective national, cultural, and economic contexts. Prerequisite(s): Junior standing or above. Approved for General Education: Inquiry & Analysis Capacity, University Studies - J Strand Grade mode designated on a CRN basis each term.
